BACK TO SCHOOL TRENDS TO HOP ON
It is that time of year again - time to get back to the classroom! At Stile, we kicked off our school year by collecting school supplies for the Kids in Need foundation. Thank you so much to all who donated!! The Kids in Need Foundation “believes every child in America should have equal opportunity and access to quality education,” so they provide the school supplies and learning resources needed to give them a level playing field in the classroom! Back to school is the perfect excuse to clean out your closet and refresh your wardrobe with the latest new trends. Whether you’re going back to college, getting your classroom ready for a new school year, or just wanting to freshen up your fall wardrobe, here are the latest fall trends to try out this fall season!
DENIM, DENIM, DENIM
If you haven't heard, denim is the frontrunner of the season! Denim dresses, jumpsuits, bustier tops, blazers, & wide leg pants are dominating the runways. The denim maxi skirt trend has landed across all Stile locations and we are LOVING it. Wear now with a platform sneaker and graphic tee or bring it into the fall with a chunky sweater and boots. This trend is perfect for the fashion forward student & teacher. Headed to game day? Pair one of our denim dresses with your cowgirl boots and sorority pins for a comfortable but cute game day look!
ELEVATED BASICS & BODYSUITS
Every season it is always important to start with the basics, and this season we got a shipment of the most amazing long sleeves, short sleeves, and bodysuits. Pair a simple bodysuit with stacked gold chains, a long denim skirt, and an oversized blazer for presentation days - it is always better to plan ahead and have these looks in your closet ready to go!
MAXI SKIRTS
Maxi skirts are back like it is 1990. While denim maxi skirts are making their way into all of our fall wardrobes, we have our eye on faux leather styles as well. The perfect item to switch up your wardrobe from the typical pant or dress. To dress up the leather, wear with a black heel and form fitting sweater. For a more casual, day-to-day look for class, wear your ankle length skirt with some high-top sneakers and a graphic tee.
STRIPES
In my opinion, stripes will never go out of style. Some people may disagree with me but I think horizontal stripes are super slimming. This season, we are seeing a lot of collared black and white striped pullover sweaters. We are sure they will be making their way into both the student & the teachers wardrobes this fall. Easily style with a slim black cargo pant for a simple yet chic look!
CARGO PANTS
The cargo trend is not going anywhere this season and we are seeing it on everything! If the parachute cargo pant was not for you this spring, the fall is full of plenty of options. Cargo pockets are on EVERYTHING! We're seeing cargo pockets on our high rise denim and more. I think big cargo pockets are really flattering on a high rise jean because they give the illusion of a smaller waist. SWEATER VESTS
The sweater vest trend is making a comeback this season - just a bit shorter and less oversized. Last year, we saw a ton of puffer vests, but this season it's all about the sweater vest. This trend looks so good with a long skirt or casual denim. If you’re a teacher and need to elevate your work wardrobe, the sweater vest trend is definitely for you! Comfy and chic at the same time.
