Assistant Manager

P O S I T I O N   O V E R V I E W : 

The Stile by Per Lei Assistant Manager has responsibility to ensure Stylists are well-trained, motivated, and engaged in an effort to maintain and grow a customer base and hit monthly sales goals. They create an exceptional in-store experience, build relationships with clients, and generate sales by bringing clientele back into the store through the implementation and execution of store events and personalized customer outreach. 

Duties/expectations include, but are not limited to: 

  • Creates an exceptional in-store experience by greeting customers, informing them of current sales/promotions, and assisting them as needed.
  • Utilizes social selling to learn about the client and best suggest different styles of potential interest.
  • Builds the fitting room for each client by incorporating latest trends/current promotions to create fully styled looks. 
  • Provides the client with product knowledge / styling tips to enhance client engagement and maximize sales. 
  • Helps clients make selections by building customer confidence while remaining honest. Offers suggestions and opinions to ensure the client is leaving with pieces they love and are excited to wear.
  • Builds and cultivates effective relationships with clients. 
  • Commits to delivering an optimistic, high-energy, and team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Accurately performs register sales transactions in a timely manner while following procedures in the Operations Binder. 
  • Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records. 
  • Develops a clientele and contacts clients daily through the use or personalized text messages / phone calls. Ensures that Senior Stylists are also reaching out to clients during each shift. 
  • Updates the sales goal whiteboard weekly and communicates current sales goals to the team. 
  • Manages and trains the team to show competence and confidence in their day-to-day duties.
  • Coaches and trains the team to achieve the desired ATV and UPT. 
  • Tracks and monitors the individual sales of each Stylist weekly.
  • Motivates Stylists to reach the monthly sales goals as a team. 
  • Generates, monitors, and facilitates monthly sales contests. 
  • Maintains accuracy of inventory ex-adjustments (damages, charitable contributions, etc.)
  • Maintains the integrity of inventory by effectively and efficiently handing all merchandise. 
  • Provides team support by helping in the completion of tasks, sharing knowledge, or assisting in customer interactions. .
  • Understands that clients are the number one priority, but makes time to maintain a clean, organized, and neat sales floor/fitting room(s) to ensure the store environment is presentable for customers.
  • Ensures that all daily tasks have been fulfilled and accounted for.
  • Integrates new inventory into current store displays, keeping color stories consistent and tables/racks/shelves looking visually pleasing.
  • Maintains weekly merchandising and window display updates. Ensures that window displays have been changed weekly and meet the guidelines made by the Visual Merchandiser. 
  • Assists in the planning and implementation of all in-store events at the location. Events include, but are not limited to in-store promotions, Birthday Sales, Black Friday, 12 Days of Christmas, Sip & Shops, etc. 
  • Plans and implements new events for the location. 
  • Creates designated content for the Social Media Marketing Manager as assigned.
  • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends, store events, and holiday weekends. 
  • Maintains a high level of punctuality and reliability at all times. 

 

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S : 

  • Retail experience is required
  • Prior management or leadership experience is preferred
  • Sufficient fashion credibility to sell merchandise to clients
  • Initiative & ability to create a book of repeat clients
  • Motivation & drive to hit monthly sales goals
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Commitment to lead the team to operate the store following company guidelines & procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  • Knowledge of business operations and financial management
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively / find solutions
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Proficiency with technology (POS system, client outreach app, excel spreadsheets, etc.)
