MY FAVORITE SKINCARE PRODUCTS OF 2023
The start of a fresh face everyday is a good skincare routine, and I try my best to stick to one! Even if I want to sleep in a few extra minutes, or get in bed early, a quick and easy skin care routine is super important to healthy, glowing skin! Below are some of my favorite products I’ve tried in 2023 - these will have you looking and feeling great all day and night!

I don’t wash my face in the morning, because I usually cleanse well the night before and don’t want to strip my skin. I rinse with cool water, and first use Farmacy Brighten Up 3% TXA Dark Spot Toner with Azelaic Acid. I love using Vitamin C in the morning! This Farmacy toner leaves me feeling fresh and clean and the Azelaic Acid helps to reduce the look of dark spots! After using the toner, I use Sunday Riley C.E.O Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Moisturizer. Don’t be afraid of the yellow shade, I think this moisturizer really brightens my skin! It absorbs really nicely and doesn’t pill. When using Vitamin C and acids, it's so important to use sunscreen. My favorite everyday sunscreen is Supergoop! Glow Screen SPF 40 Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide. This gives me a glow similar to Charlotte Tilbury Flawless filter, but it has SPF!

I double cleanse at night to make sure I get off all the pollution for the day. First step to wash off the day is a cleansing balm, and I love Youth to the People Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm. This is super smooth and gets all of my makeup off, including mascara. I searched far and wide for a cleansing balm that didn’t leave a residue and was clean. Next, I do a second cleanse with the Osea Ocean Cleanser. I love Osea’s natural products and I usually pick them up at Terrain. This cleanser leaves my skin clean without feeling stripped. I also love their body balm when I get out of the shower. This isn’t makeup, but it’s a great post-shower pick me up to leave your skin feeling fresh and moisturized, plus the smell is dreamy! Another topical acid my dermatologist recommends is Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10%, and it’s great for dark spots. And I love that you can find it at Target! Prescribed by my dermatologist, I also think it’s never too early to start Retinol! It helps with my acne, wrinkles, and dark spots. The addition of retinol I think is the best start for skin care, talk to your dermatologist to see if it’s right for you! For moisturizer, my favorite of 2023 is Caudalie Resveratrol Life Retinol Alternative Firming Cashmere Moisturizer. This is the perfect night moisturizer, as it is hydrating but doesn’t leave my skin too greasy. I also find if you have a good moisturizer, then you don’t need an eye cream…one less step! This Caudalie moisturizer is a perfect night cream to hydrate, soften, plump, and it will have you waking up refreshed!
While everybody’s skin is different, these are my book skincare go-tos right now. Do you have any recommendations you are obsessed with that I need to try? Let me know! I’m always on the market to try something new, but these are my tried and true favorites for a streamlined routine.
