Today is officially the first day of Spring and I couldn't be more excited for the start of warmer weather and adding pieces into my closet for the new season. While spring cleaning is a necessity for some, spring shopping is a necessity for me. With all of the new shipments of dresses, jeans, and accessories in store, it’s almost impossible not to! Adding to your closet can be a little overwhelming when there are so many new styles and trends, so I broke down all the essentials you’ll need for your Spring break wardrobe. 

W H I T E  D E N I M

It’s that time of year where white denim is coming back into your outfit rotation and you don't want to miss out on the different styles that Stile offers. From skinny to wide leg, you can't go wrong finding white denim that make you feel comfortable; while still looking great. 

D E N I M S H O R T S

Denim shorts are starting to make an appearance, whether you wear them on a tropical vacation or if the weather decides to surprise us with a nice day. I’ve never had a great relationship with denim shorts until I started trying the options that we have at Stile. Being uncomfortable in shorts in warm weather is the worst feeling and I’m so happy I’ve found a few pairs that I love. Denim shorts are a staple for Spring, whether they are cropped, cuffed, distressed, bermuda length, or frayed.

B U T T O N  D O W N S

My personal favorite for a relaxed spring look is an oversized button down that is half tucked into my bottoms. The selection at Stile is endless with neutrals, bright colors, solid prints, and stripes. You can elevate any look by grabbing a silk button down instead of a cotton material and pair the silk option with chunky jewelry. Cotton button downs are my preference for everyday wear to look trendy while not having to put in too much effort. If you don’t like the oversized type of look, I suggest sizing down or trying one of our cropped button downs. 

B L A Z E R S

Blazers are my best friend and a must have for the spring! I’m always adding blazers over graphic tees, basic tanks, and t-shirt dresses. The blazer styles for Spring are coming in hot with the lightweight fabric and bright colors. It’s any easy way to add an extra layer for the cooler nights or layer for a sophisticated chic look during the day. 

F L O R A L  D R E S S E S

My thought process for floral dresses is this.....even if you don't need it right now, there will always be an occasion in the future that you will need it for. Floral printed dresses can be styled with heels for a fancier occasion like a wedding, bridal shower and graduation. Transition them for day-to-day with a pair of white fashion sneakers for an elevated but casual look. 

C R O C H E T  A N Y T H I N G

The number #1 trend that I’ve seen everywhere, especially all over my Instagram feed is crochet. Dresses, sweaters, tops, and beach cover ups are the most popular styles right now. Wearing a crochet dress with a slip underneath is the perfect spring outfit and throwing a crochet sweater over any basic tank gives you that extra layer to spice up your look or give you some coverage. 

A C C E S S O R I E S

Don’t think I forgot about adding in some essential accessories for the Springtime. My go to accessories for spring are a fun pair of sunglasses and everyone's favorite bitchstix chapstick/lip oil! SPF chapstick is my best friend when the sun comes out!
