Social Media Marketing Manager

P O S I T I O N   O V E R V I E W : 

The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all social media channels, distributing content, and bringing to life a strong brand story. The candidate brings story telling, creative ideas, community building, and other initiatives to our current marketing program. The Social Media Marketing Manager is a leader, highly fluid in an ever changing space, and has strong skills for a fast paced environment. The objective of this role is to build an effective social media strategy, engage an audience, drive traffic, increase conversions, and manage an online community by reading clients comments / questions and providing responses. 

Duties/expectations include, but are not limited to: 

  • Oversees all social media channels, distributing content, and bringing to life a strong brand story
  • Plans, designs, implements, and monitors all social media & email marketing campaigns
  • Creates, curates, and manages social content, including text, audio, visual, and multimedia formats
  • Contributes to the marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers
  • Engages users with prompt responses, organizes polls / competitions, asks questions, and cultivates relationships
  • Monitors social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy, and innovation to stay relevant and effective
  • Creates comprehensive marketing plans / strategies to boost brand image, increase customer engagement, and improve conversations
  • Designs, implements, and manages social ad campaigns integrated into Stile's strategic marketing plans
  • Tracks social media campaigns key performance metrics to maximize results ad report progress to management
  • Produces and directs photoshoots
  • Reviews / selects images from photoshoots and edits selected images using Lightroom for the ecommerce site / social platforms / email marketing
  • Creates and oversees marketing briefs for emails, ads, web, and social
  • Manages budgets across content platforms
  • Works cross functional with buying and merchandising to plan for content / collection drops
  • Stays current on social media trends and implements them for the brand
  • Ensures the delivery of successful campaigns while supporting the business' critical KPIs
  • Analyzes how effective content is, while making recommendations for improvement based on insights and trends
  • Manages performance tracking and reporting
  • Understands how to leverage social media as a tool to inspire conversation, drive sales, and ignite quality community growth. 
  • Hops in on the sales floor as needed to support the business and better understand the client / product. 


Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S :

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Marketing Manager
  • BS degree in communications, marketing, or public relations 
  • Demonstrable content creation skills with a strong social media portfolio
  • Solid experience in social media marketing, including video editing, photo editing, and graphic design
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canvas, Photoshop, and Ilustrator
  • Proficiency in Mircosoft Office
  • Passion for creating content
  • Ability to think outside the box when creating content / marketing strategies
  • Knowledge in the fashion industry
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage and organize a schedule to meet deliverables for ongoing content strategy
  • An eye for aesthetic
  • Active on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tiktok
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
